2017 Ford Ka Review, Design

The Ford Ka model debut back in 2001 and since then, this model had a lot of successes. As we know, the Ka model is the younger model in the Ford family, but that doesn’t mean that is less good. The most recent 2017 Ford Ka+ will come on the market with several improvements and we can expect quite better model than the current one. That certainly means much more sales compared to how many sales outgoing model has. Ford also says that next 2017 Ford Ka will hit the marketplaces at the beginning of 2017. We can expect a lot of new systems inside, especially in terms of connectivity.

2017 Ford Ka – Body and Design:

From the outside, the 2017 Ford Ka looks better than its predecessor and definitely has much more style. Front and rear side of the vehicle will be a little redesigned. The front side is significantly changed and here we can notice new prominent hexagonal upper grille. It will replace the old trapezoidal underbite-ish grille. Also, here we can notice stern headlamps instead of the previous one. These new headlights will also use LED technology. The front bumper of this model will have a large center cut-out. At the sides of the bumper, we can see fog lights with LED system.

Thanks to the new hood made using the aluminum, the total weight of the vehicle is reduced, which means improved performance and fuel consumption. The side profile will remain unchanged, but that is probably the only thing that will be the same as before. Some of the other exterior features include beautifully designed 18-inch alloy wheels, Roof rack, Rear defogger, Privacy glass, and many others as well. Interior Design:

The interior design of the recently developed 2017 Ford Ka will be very nice, and in this segment, we can also anticipate some changes. We can notice refreshed dashboard with the large infotainment (Ford SYNC software) screen. The comfort is also on the high-level thanks to the well shaped and very adjustable seats offered with leather upholstery. The cabin is able to accommodate up to five people. Some of the other interior features include Electric power steering, Cruise control, Interior air filtration, Video monitor, Satellite radio, USB, Bluetooth, Front and rear cupholders, 10 total speakers, Dual-zone climate control, Universal remote transmitter, and many others as well. Furthermore, some of the available safety features include Engine immobilizer, Remote anti-theft alarm system, Emergency braking assist, Traction control, Stability control, Rear door child safety locks, 4-wheel ABS, Tire pressure monitoring and Post-collision safety system.

2017 Ford Ka – Engine Information:

The upcoming Ford Ka will hit the market with a 1.2-litre four-cylinder. This engine will have an either 69 or 84 hp. All wheel drive type is provided. According to EPA rates, the 2017 Ford Ka plus will have a fuel consumption of 20-23/27-30 mpg in the city/highway. The acceleration will be from 0-60 mph is between 7 and 9 seconds.

2017 Ford Ka – MSRP and Release Date:

The starting MSRP for the base model will be around $10,000. The release date of this model is scheduled for the next year, most likely in the first half. The main rivals will be Mini Countryman, and Alfa Romeo Stelvio.
